Meet your therapist, Madeline Key, LPC
Hi, I’m Madeline! I know finding a therapist can be overwhelming, so I’m honored that you’re here. I help adults who struggle with anxiety learn how to quiet the mind, heal from the past, and build healthy relationships. I absolutely love walking alongside others as they uncover their God-given strengths and start living with more peace and connection.
While trials are a natural part of life, too many people are living with anxiety and wounds in the driver’s seat. My goal is to help you take ownership of your life and find freedom. Maybe you know what you need to change, but you just can’t find the motivation. Maybe you don’t even know where to start, but you know you’re sick of feeling stuck. Maybe you’re seeing how this heaviness is interfering with your relationships. Helping others work through these challenges is why I love what I do!
I view therapy as a collaborative process between therapist and client. While I have the clinical skills and expertise to make observations and facilitate change, you are the expert on your own life, so we’ll work together to identify goals and ensure you’re getting what you want and need out of our time together. It may not feel easy; in fact, at times change can feel quite uncomfortable, but that can be a good sign that you’re headed in the right direction, and I’m here to support you along the way.
If you’re ready to take the next step towards a more radiant life, connect with me to schedule a phone consultation. I look forward to connecting with you!
The heart behind Radiant Counseling
The heart behind Radiant Counseling is to support others as they seek the Lord and allow Him to transform their lives. The name of the practice was inspired by Psalm 34:5: “Those who look to Him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.” I believe shame is the root of many mental health struggles, but the Bible teaches that we don’t have to live in shame. Jesus died on the cross to liberate us from sin and shame (Romans 3:23-25). When you accept Him into your life, any wrongs you have (or will) commit are forgiven and you are a new creation (2 Corinthians 5:17). You are accepted as a child of God (Romans 8:17). No matter how lost you might feel, no one is beyond the redemption of Jesus. You can be radiant.
